Hall Downstairs in Texas - traditional perspective study, 18" x 24" graphite on paper

I've always been challenged by perspective. I'd consider myself more of a character artist up to this point and always shied away from anything that might make me do perspective work. Ha! For this assignment we had to choose a hallway at school and draw it using 1 point perspective. I chose a rather challenging hallway in the basement near the cafe. Somewhat successful, but there's still plenty of scale issues (the door on the left, hallway width overall). Still not bad for someone who hasn't done any perspective work since his "Layout and Design for Film" class at CALARTS in 1996!! (Admittedly I have done some perspective since, but not to this degree of intensity or polish). Again, I began in graphite but feel that I may have been more successful with charcoal...
