Me as objects - traditional still life study, 18" x 24" graphite on paper

One of the first assignments in my drawing class at RMCAD. We were to collect a series of objects that represented our heritage, our interests, our contemporary world and our childhood (one of which had to be a container to hold the others) and arrange them to do a still life study. I chose Mega-Blox as a childhood representation, a PS4 controller for my interests, a tortilla warmer for my heritage, and a mouse to represent modern society. I'm not new to this sort of work, but it has been a very, very long time. I feel this was successful, but realized that I probably would have preferred to have done it in charcoal.
