The Viral Child was very much a representation of our current times...a little beastie whose head is reminiscent of another wee beastie that ravages our world, our lives and our families. The idea was that this thing only wants to be close to you, much like a toddler or child, it just wants a hug. Here I showcase its idle animation. Creature design, 3D sculpt, re-topology, paint, rig and animation by me.
This project has since evolved into an anthology of small-scale, one-off horror games that I call "State Route 73"...
