The Xenoroid rounds out the Beast, Bot and Alien types from the game though it didn't make the cut for our first series (that honor goes to Muscle Martian), I wanted to see this design through as it was one of the first and earliest (see original here: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/QXNEE) and during our first phase of concepts and design I moved it to a more biomechanical feel and less like a Robotech Invid (from which it takes much inspiration): https://www.artstation.com/artwork/5XA3zP
I greatly enjoy running character designs through the full pipeline from concept to modeling and texture, to rigging and animation. This represents that process in full (much like many of my other pieces here). I didn't spend too much time on the anim, but will likely do a full suite of behaviors for game purposes once we release series 2 or 3 of our atomic titans!
